Did you have a favorite toy growing up?
Most people can tell a story about a favorite toy when they were a child. The toy itself was important because of the magical ingredient that was added - IMAGINATION, because that is what brings toys to life.
I still have my favorite toy - a little baby doll received at three years old. I named her Lulabelle, and she is pictured here.
Albert Einstein said, "Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to what we know now and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there will ever be to know and understand."
I'm grateful to have had wonderful parents that allowed me to be creative and inspired my imagination. They both participated in our games, helped with art and sewing projects, took us on nature walks; along with developing my love of books.
I'm also lucky to have a husband that really "gets me" and has retained his own spirit-of-play. He treats my toys and all the animals I've brought home over the past 30 plus years with love and affection.
We wanted to share photos and stories, coming soon, with the young and old, who remember or still have that special toy that helped them navigate childhood.
This website is dedicated to the IMAGINATION that continues to live in YOU!
